Every year it’s the same; people come for the music, they stay for the community. Camping is a big part of the Festival of the Bluegrass experience. Whether your load up your RV or throw a tent in your trunk, you’ll be joining a few thousand of the closest friends you never knew you had.

The late night pickin’, the morning smells of coffee and bacon, the trek to the showers and dip in the pool all reinforce that the Festival of the Bluegrass is more village than campground.

The Kentucky Horse Park Campground is a beautiful state park that provides all campers with access to a bath house, playground, and swimming pool. There’s even a campground store where you can pick up a toothbrush you left behind, or other items that you need as the week goes on.

If you want a little more luxury to your campsite, some electricity may be available. If you're interested, send an email to
camping@festivalofthebluegrass.com. Tent and RV campers are welcome. If you're bringing an RV, let us know the length and type.
