Camping is a huge part of the Festival of the Bluegrass experience. You may come for the music, but you'll stay for the great pickin', new friends, and unparalleled energy that exists in the campground. Whether you're looking to string up a hammock or pull in a 40' motorhome, we have options for you.
Primitive Camping sites are available on a first come, first serve basis and the "weekend" tickets allow you to begin your Festival experience a few days before the music starts on Sunday, June 7.
The Kentucky Horse Park Campground has outstanding facilities that provide you with bathrooms, showers, and even a swimming pool. There are tennis and basketball courts, as well as two playgrounds for the little ones.
The Campground store sells ice and other sundries, but your only a hop, skip, and a jump away from Lexington and Georgetown where you can easily pick up something you may have left behind.
Water and Electric Camping
There are water and electric sites available for RV and tent campers alike! In order to maximize the number of people who are able to take advantage of these facilities, we have only a small handful of single sites; the other sites are shared with 2, and sometimes 3 campers.
We currently have a waiting list for those of you interested in attending the 2016 event. Please fill out the form below to have your name added and we will contact you regarding availability.
